BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Members are entitled to call themselves Certified Professionals in their area of expertise, signifying a mark of honour, achievement, prestige and distinction.

Members can attend Certified Institute of Professionals seminars and conferences at reduced costs, where they will have opportunities to meet and network with other members, and learn to develop strategic management skills.

Members can progress professionally within the various categories of the CIP.

Members who wish to consider migrating to other countries for employment purposes can receive useful advice from designated registered immigration agencies that CIP can direct them to.

Student Affiliate Members of the CIP have opportunities to:

  • Discuss their professional/occupational aspirations with CIP and for CIP to assist them in identifying their career pathways (when appropriate).

  • Be guided in preparing their curriculum vitae.

  • Obtain useful resources regarding professional interviewing skills, techniques and strategies, to assist them when they attend job interviews.

  • Be guided regarding further studies in overseas countries.

CIP Membership Rankings from the lowest to highest are:

  • Certified Student Affiliate Member (CSAM-CIP)

  • Certified Associate Member (CAM-CIP)

  • Certified Member (CM-CIP)

  • Certified Associate Fellow Member (CAFM-CIP)

  • Certified Fellow Member (CFM-CIP)

  • Certified Distinguished Fellow Member (CDFM-CIP)

Example of usage: If an Industrial Engineer is accepted as a Member of the Certified Institute of Professionals, the Industrial Engineer is entitled to use the letters CM-CIP and be described as a Certified Member of CIP in Industrial Engineering.

If an Accountant is accepted as a Fellow Member, the accountant can use the letters CFM-CIP, and be described as a Certified Fellow Member of CIP in Accounting.

Certified Student Affiliate Member - $100

Certified Associate Member - $200

Certified Member - $250

Certified Associate Fellow - $300

Certified Fellow - $350

Certified Distinguished Fellow - $400

PAYMENT: If your application for CIP membership is successful, you will be emailed instructions for payment of the annual membership fee.

CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP: Once membership payment is received, you will be emailed your receipt and Membership Certificate within 10-12 working days and be entitled to start using your professional designatory letters.
